I Offer the following services for upright and grand acoustic pianos:
Fine Tune – £75
A fine tune is a standard tuning which normally takes around 1 hour.
Pitch & Fine Tune – £130
If a piano hasn’t been tuned for a long time, or is particularly out of tune, a pitch & fine is recommended. This normally takes between 2 and 3 hours.
Call-out Fee – £30
The call-out fee is included in the tuning costs. It is only applicable if a piano is beyond tuning or repair upon my arrival.
Repairs
The cost of repairs varies based on the nature of the repair and is something I can only advise on once in front of a piano.
Piano Visit/Assessment – £30
If you are looking to buy a piano from a private seller or firm, or collect a free piano, for the call-out fee I can go with you to assist in assessing the piano. If you are looking to sell/pass on your piano, and require an honest assessment of the piano’s condition, I can also provide that. Please note I am not a valuator so will not provide you the market value of a piano.
Payment can be made via bank transfer (a full invoice with the bank details will be provided) or cash.
Jobs outside of Nottingham or over 45 minutes away will incur a travel fee of £5-20 on top of the tuning or call-out price/tuning fee.
Hours – 10-3 Monday-Friday
My hours are 10-3 Monday to Friday, but I can occasionally work weekends if necessary. In terms of availability, my work diary tends to fill up quite quickly but I can usually accommodate for what time and date best suits you and get out to your piano within 1 to 2 weeks.
